REHUGO Government- Opposing Articles

A. Body piercings and tattooing in the work place and every day society

B. Both: Gale Viewpoints in Context

C. In the article " Most People Love Their Tattoos" by Kristopher Kaiyala his point is that tattoos are considered now a days as body art, linked with a story behind them for the tattoo owner to show and share with friends and family. In " Most People Regret Getting a Tattoo" the author, Deanna Anderson, mainly speaks of the negative affects of tatoos concentrating mostly on if the person will no longer want the tattoo in the future but also hitting on other topics such as how they appeal in the work place.

D. In " Most People Love Their Tattoos" Kaiyala shows pathos and ethos telling a story on how a woman went on a trip to Hawaii while she was there visiting her and her friend got a tattoo of their state flower on their ankles the significance of this story is that the woman was 75 showing that people of all ages get tattoos and that, "it is no longer the domain for bikers, sailors, and inmates." He also gives more ethos when stating that, " 34 percent of tattooed adults feel sexier than before getting their body art." Kaiyala is trying to show tattoos are art and not "body graphity."

In " Most People Regret Getting a Tattoo" Anderson uses alot of ethos and logos stating how some jobs won't hire you if your tattoo cannot be hidden and how removing a no longer wanted tattoo is costly and may leave an ugly scar.

E. Kaiyala describes tattoos as a piece of art that can be used for symbolism such as the flower on the womans ankle represnting her home state this also tributes to his tone so it comes off as more passionate towards his love of body art having the reader feel more compassionate with his argument.

Anderson uses alot of repition in her argument with the statements, "...may leave an ugly scar..' and, " ..costly..' Her tone is more worried leaving the feeling of a mother not wanting their child not to make a mistake so they won't regret it later.

F. Tattoos to me are a work of art, they are permanently on your body so the choice of tattoo you get should be well thought about and meaningful. I plan to get some tattoos in the future not to many but a few if its a person style to but something on their body who am I to judge its their own style just like clothes on a person would be.
