REHUGO-Universal Truths: Family
A. "Other things may change us, but we start and end with family" - Anthony Brandt
"The only rock I know stays steady, the only institution I know that works, is the family"- Lee Iacocca
B. The meaning of Brandt's quote is that no matter where we go in in life or whatever we do we will always end back with family whether physically or mentally we always go back to our roots. The meaning of Iacocca's quote is that family is always there and always is reliable for you.
C. The relevance of these quotes is they relate to the average family in todays society. Such as how my sister may have moved to Mississippi but she still has the same morals and diginity from which she learned at home with her family. And the fact that although shes starting a new chapter in life she still lives fifteen minutes from a realatives house showing that " we start and end with family". Also when she calls to gossip with my mom i hear them talk of cheating, lies, and deception in her own words she says what Iaococca says that family is the only thing thats always there for you.
What's the connection? The relevance of these quotes is they relate to the average family in todays society. Such as how my sister may have moved to Mississippi but she still has the same morals and diginity from which she learned at home with her family.
