REHUGO: Universal truth- quotes

A) Quote and author
a)“For everyone of us that succeeds, it's because there's somebody there to show you the way out. The light doesn't always necessarily have to be in your family; for me it was teachers and school.” author is Oprah Winfrey as a successful entrepreneur.

b) ‘The strength of a nation derives from the integrity of the home.” The author is Confucius from the perspective as a Chinese philosopher.

B) Meaning of quote:
a) The meaning of the quote is that everyone requires a person to be there for you. Since success in your career or in life creates stress and attracts non sincere people, they require an outlet. The outlet would consist of someone you trust and believed in you before your success. For some that outlet might be a family member who loved you from the beginning. While for others, such as Oprah, it is school and teachers. Good teachers inspire and believe in their students. Teachers never give up on you, and can lend an adult figure in your life making them a good place to recharge. This quote is very agreeable because Oprah has experienced the upper class world which makes her an expert on the subject.

b) A country is governed by a group of upper class diplomats, but ultimitly it is the citizens of the country which reflect the nations strengths and weakness. Social disruptions and rebellions break families apart, making them weaker. When all the citizens strength is drained due to social disputes, where will the country gain strength? Without the people, there would be no nation, no section to govern over. The homes regard the nations values, and economic status. If the citizens are uncaring, the government can not improve itself. Ideally, the integrity of the homes should be good to show the nations through unification, numbers equal power.

C) Relevance today:
a) Today, people succeed and lose everyday. Even know, the famous people put into societies had someone behind them cheering them on. Without that, a person loses faith in themselves and without faith in yourself you can not get very far. This quote will always apply, even in the future. Behind every great person, there is someone backing them up. Such was the cases on many famous people such as celebrities. One celebrity, called Pitbull, had a teacher in high school who constantly believed in him and helped him further his passion to the point where he succeed.

b) The saying is still relevant in the modern age. Currently, there is a gigantic protest occurring in Egypt over the president they have over there. Egyptians argue that he is becoming a tyrant and the peoples main goal is to restore democracy. Because of at home disturbances, the nation is not strong. If America or another nation were to attack Egypt, they would be in trouble because the disputes split the power of their government. It can work the other way too. Egyptians who are revolting are unified for one cause and have the power to create a stronger diplomatic government. A diplomatic government would make the Egyptians believe in their political system again, gaining the citizen's trust and support.
