REHUGO Analysis – Quote/ Universal Truth

A. a. When you look at your life, the greatest happinesses are family happinesses. ~Joyce Brothers

b. “A world community can only exist with world communication, which means something more than extensive software facilities scattered about the globe. It means common understanding, a common tradition, common idea's and common ideals.”- Robert M. Hutchins

B. a. The author of the quote, he expresses that the largest idea in your life to keep you happy in having your family happy. Joyce Brothers compares someone’s life as if they are either sad or lost in world to knowing that whenever they are at a stage where they need motivation, he or she can become aware that there is always family to fall back on.

b. Hutchins expresses in his quote that a strong community can only last if there is more verbal contact and agreements with one another than there is with a computer source or any technological usage. He believes that talking things out, such as a community meeting would benefit rather than reading a print out of what to do’s.

C. a. Life today consists of many downfalls in a person’s life. Many people are getting fired from their job, students are stressed out about tests and their emotions and stress take up most of their time. Those people are not aware that happiness is always around them, they just don’t share the time with their family in order to achieve it. With that, it is possible to see that if students or adults give time to spend with their family, their stress or emotions would be easily turned into happiness because they can finally realize that family would always be there to support him/her.

b. Many people in today’s life mainly use instant messaging, or texting to speak to one another. Technology is taking over their lives and there is less of a communication nowadays. People are different from one another and have no common interests because they lack the ability to spend time and find common interests with another person. In our society, technology is preventing us to go outside and spend a decent time with a friend or family member in order to express that person is with the quality of something that is common to two people.
